The manga “Chainsaw Man” by Tatsuki Fujimoto is being adapted into a stage production titled “Chainsaw Man: The Stage.” The stage play will run from September 16th (Saturday) to October 1st (Sunday) at the Galaxy Theatre in Tokyo, and from October 6th (Friday) to October 9th (Monday, public holiday) at the Kyoto Theatre. Naotake Tsuchiya will take on the role of the protagonist, Denji. General ticket sales will begin on August 19th, 2023 (Saturday).

“Chainsaw Man” is a dark hero action manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto that follows the story of Denji, a boy who houses the devil Pochita within him and becomes an active devil hunter. The series began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018 and continued with its second part in Shonen Jump+ from July 2022. The TV anime adaptation, which aired from October 2022, received favorable reviews.
